Interview

I went for an interview today for a job as a kindergarten para-professional resource teacher. (That’s a mouthful.) I can’t really get into much detail because it’s rather P & C.
It’s a 6-month contract position, hourly rated based on academic qualification, so the remuneration is alright. Basically it entails providing an English Language environment for kids who are disadvantaged in that they lack the exposure to the language; a kind of intervention and focused work. It will involve some amount of paperwork as well: observation records, lesson plans, reports, etc.

Exciting actually.

I’ll know next week whether I’ve secured the contract. It’s a good start to the building up of my portfolio!

I’ve got my fingers crossed.
