Seriously.
The music was great, the sound system didn't fail me, and Mr. Martin was in top form. I avoided watching any of their concerts on DVD or YouTube so it was kind of a bizarre experience seeing him prance about. I was kind of scared for his safety there a bit. But apart from the lovable antics (yes, you would fall in love with them eventually) he sounded amazing. I also loved how the whole band engaged with the audience. It was quite a pleasant shock to see them suddenly appear in the crowd. They were mere metres away!!
And the crowd was utterly fantastic. We were standing almost the whole length of the concert. I, for one screamed at the top of my lungs, (decorum aside) and singing whatever I could remember. It was heaven on earth. And the height of it was when the whole, full capacity stadium sang along to what has got to be the anthem - Fix You. And my hoarseness the next day was worth it. I am already anticipating their next album. Heck with whatever critics might say. I am a Coldplay fan and I am proud to be one.
