Managed to steal some time last night to pay a long overdue visit to see baby Sara Andriana. Her face changes all the time, at least from what I can see from the pictures that her proud aunt sends me.

She is so pretty. I didn't carry her (as much as I wanted to) cos I have not been feeling too well, didn't want to pass on any germs. Took a picture though with Lin and Sara in her cot.



Sigh...babies. Somehow, the little sliver of hope slips away every single day.

Went away that night with this song in my head.

Birthday Boy

Celebrated my brother's birthday last night. And here's the birthday cake.



No, he's not 9 as you might think. He turned a ripe age of 29!!! Ha ha ha. Has a thing for Superman. (Ok well I do too. Will buy that full set someday.)

His first gift of the day were some Double Choc Cookies baked by Amelia for her uncle.



He was all gleeful opening the gift from us - a pair of scrambler goggles. We combed Kaki Bukit to find it but went around in the rain without any luck. Went all the way to Jalan Besar where there were several shops. Went into any one and lucky for me and Kak Ngah the sales people were ladies!!! So we didn't get any weird stares like those we got at a shop in Changi a few days ago.



Proud owner of goggles modelling it for us and looking very much like Darth Vader!!
