Eventhough I came from a wedding, and had helped myself to the luxurious buffet spread, I mustered the courage to meet up with the Anjels at Rouse. A much talked about or heard about happening place of late, we thought we'd give it a try.
Its minimalist decor, was magnetic, as was the uber cool, almost trip hop music they were playing. I fell in love with the up-cycled door that was transformed into the table we sat at. The metal chairs weirdly enough were to my liking as well.
The food…was rather similar to La Maralle in their concept. Easy to prepare, easy to consume fare. Appreciated the free flow of iced water, placed strategically behind me. I enjoyed the food enough.
